Meet Jonah
Jonah is a celebrated entertainment multi-hyphenate and one of the world’s most trusted voices on modern Jewish identity, culture, and current events. Jonah uses his platform to empower, educate, and explore issues affecting the Jewish community with nuance, clarity, and compassion. His op-eds have appeared in Variety, The Forward, USA Today, and Times of Israel, and he’s appeared as an expert on CNN, Israel’s i24, Fox News Digital, KTLA News, FOXLA News, Newsmax, Atlanta News First, NewsNation, The Unholy Podcast, and more.
Jonah’s entertainment credits span screen, stage, and studio—from starring in the Broadway blockbuster Wicked, to acting in numerous films like Oscar-nominated Being the Ricardos & Jewish holiday favorite Menorah in the Middle, and beloved TV sitcoms like The Office and Uncoupled. He has written for multiple TV comedies, voiced beloved animated characters, and produced numerous film and theater projects. He is also a sought-after singer and musician with millions of YouTube views, an award-winning vocal arranger, director of improv and theater, and is currently co-writing the stage musical adaptation of Lois Lowry’s bestselling novel, THE GIVER.
Jonah proudly sits on the boards of One Mitzvah A Day, The 8 Project, American Jewish University’s Intro to Judaism program, The Inheritance Theater Project, and Van Jones’ Exodus Media, and is an associate of Hen Mazzig’s Tel Aviv Institute. He was honored with California’s inaugural Community Excellence Award for Combating Antisemitism, Holocaust Museum LA’s inaugural Advocacy Award, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Antisemitism Studies at Gratz College.
