I'm your host, Jonah Platt, and the conversation you're about to witness was recorded live on August 30th, 2026, as the closing panel of the Jewish American Summit in Los Angeles, California

There, I had the opportunity to interview a man whose story is almost too extreme to be believed, more the stuff of cinema than real life

His name is Mosab Hassan Yousef, though perhaps you know him better as the Green Prince, his Shin Bet codename

Born to the leader of Hamas' political wing, he was deeply involved in the Palestinian terrorist organization, and at age 18, he was arrested by Shin Bet, Israel's intelligence service, and imprisoned for over 27 months

During his incarceration, he witnessed Hamas' brutal treatment of its own people, which prompted his decision to defect to Israel, becoming Shin Bet's most valuable source inside Hamas leadership

His intelligence prevented dozens of attacks and assassinations, exposed Hamas cells, and saved countless lives, including his father's

When the risks became too high, he fled to America, where he lives in secrecy today

His debut book, Son of Hamas, became a New York Times international bestseller and inspired the documentary The Green Prince, which won Best Documentary at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival

A disclaimer: As some of you may have already seen from leaked clips on social media, at one point in our conversation, Mosab expresses extreme anti-Muslim sentiments, so much so that even LA's Mayor Karen Bass was compelled to issue an apology to the Muslim community

For those of you who follow this show closely, you'll know that, of course, I do not share Mosab's beliefs in this regard

I have both featured and discussed my admiration for moderate Muslims multiple times on this program, have greatly enjoyed the friendships I've built with these wonderful Muslim men and women from all over the world, and will be highlighting more again later this season

Needless to say, Mosab's views in this case are not my own

I am, however, leaving the content of the conversation as it was experienced so intensely and shockingly by those of us in the room so that you, too, may share that experience and draw from it your own insights

This is a man who has endured the worst of what humanity is capable of and lives a kind of solitude none of us will ever know

As extreme as I find some of his ideas to be, I feel he's at least earned the right to express and be judged for them on his own merits

All right, Mosab, the reason we're here in this moment

First, I, I wanna understand what it's like to be you right now

Can, can you live safely? How dangerous, how dangerous is it for me to be sitting on the stage with you right now? I'd say you walk into a room and you get a standing ovation

Not bad

I should go more places with you

Trust me, you don't want to be me or you don't want to be walking into my shoes

This is the life that I accept

Most people would break

Let's keep it, uh, that simple

And there are many of my adversaries out there who are waiting for me to break

I have bad news for them They were hoping that I would break 30 years ago, then 20 years ago, then 10 years ago, then today

I will outlive and outlast every one of them

Inshallah, are you still connected in any way to the inside of what's happening, whether that be on the Palestinian side or the Israeli side? Or do you learn as we learn from the news like the rest of us? I try not to spend too much time on the social media

I have lots of things to do, and every now and then I just read the headlines, and it's like a rabbit hole

There are so many people out there who don't see things for what they are, the obvious truth, and they choose to see, to see it inverted, or for some reason they must invert reality to suit their narrative

Everything appears to be twisted

For me, I don't treat it as reality

In the real world, I trust in life, and life is my greatest teacher, and it doesn't matter how many people out there agree on something

Who writes the news? They write the news, I write the events

They get validation from Clowns, and they think that they have empires

Empires in the virtual reality, while I have armies, boots on the ground everywhere

Warriors who know how to fight

We're born warriors And we are not afraid to die And we're most certainly not afraid of mortals First learn how to conquer death, then come talk to me

So yes, there are millions of them, millions of clowns, billions of clowns out there who seem to be taking over

But in reality, in the concrete reality, we rule

Is that clear enough? Or do I need to explain more? Just the last sentence

When you say "we rule," who is we? Those who are pro-life, those who are anti-barbarism, those who see things for what they are, and those who are not afraid to die for the sake of truth, and those who fight for women, for children, for the innocent people

Not those who put children in harm's way, and not those who come pose as moralists

No, you cannot teach me morality

I can teach you reality

Before you were born, we are fi- we have been fighting

We had been fighting on the front lines

We have been fighting terrorism, barbarism, and all the selfish motherfuckers out there who have been targeting civilians, and they think that it's a fun game

It's not a fun game

So this is my message to all the, uh, all those who are addicted to the, uh, dopamine by, uh, followers' validation

You are sick people

Your followers are ghosts, and you weigh nothing in the concrete reality

You exist only in a virtual reality, and when you come to the real world You weigh nothing So all those who want to fight and, uh, pose as something, the battlefield is in Gaza

Come down to Gaza, and our guys will meet you there

I will meet you there personally

But spreading hate Against innocent people? Spreading lies and manipulating the public, exploiting the tragedy of war, a war that you started

You are going nowhere with that

These people don't understand that they are capable only of hurting themselves

Like someone who's determined on suicide

Commit suicide

Do you think I will have compassion towards you? Jump You clearly don't need to convince the people in this room of your message

I mean, the- I am speaking to the outside world So this is my question … and this is, this is why I put this attitude

Okay? This attitude is not a performance

Okay? This is a message to all those who think that they are gaining ground

They are not

And my message is through your camera to them, wherever they are

You have a lot to lose And you cannot defeat someone who has nothing to lose

So, okay, you defamed us

We are the genociders right now, for example

Even though from the beginning of the war, we were screaming out loud, "Evacuate the civilians

" Everybody was trying to pressure on our side, trying to pressure Egypt to open the freaking border

Evacuate the most vulnerable civilians so combatants can face combatants

Instead, they were screaming, "Intifada, Intifada

Globalize the Intifada

" This is what they were screaming

Had they cared about the civilians and about the children, they would have pressured Egypt and the United Nations to evacuate the most vulnerable civilians

But they don't care

They needed the chaos because in chaos they th- they thrive

And now somehow we are the genocidals, even though we've been saying Hamas is bad news, the Muslim Brotherhood is bad news, jihadists are bad news, and now they trapped everybody into this chaos

So practically We have no choice but to fight them

And if they choose to validate and support the barbarians and take the side of barbarians, then we are going to defeat them and defeat the barbarians till the last one

We have no other choice

They don't understand that this is existential fight

For me, this is an existential war, and my existence is not negotiable When I wake up in the morning, I don't have any thought of harming any living being

This is not how I start my day

But I don't understand why there are billions of people out there who want me dead, and they never met me

It looks like the truth makes them uncomfortable My firsthand experience, this does not suit in their narrative

This is what's all about How do you ensure that what you have to say is reaching people who, as you say, don't care to hear about the truth, don't wanna hear it, isn't fitting into their confirmation bias? And what's your goal? Are you trying, like, do you think, uh, they are concerned of the truth? If they were, we-- they wouldn't need to hear from you right now

So I, no, I don't think the truth is the primary concern

No, I don't think that they are willing to hear the truth, and I don't think that they are concerned

And the more you try, actually, the more they double down on their falsehood

This is how it's working in their reality

And I am beyond the point that I'm trying to convince anybody

I'm just telling them that this is basically a warning

And I say it again, you are only capable of harming yourselves

So insist on evil, and pose as a savior, as a moralist as much as you want

They are too invested right now in this business

Do you think if somebody comes to them, if a messenger or a prophet or someone with a first-hand experience come to them and say, "Hey, you've been deceived," do you think their ego would allow them actually to listen? And the vast majority, let's say the silent people, they are going to learn as well, but the hard way

Because we have been saying that jihadists are not only against Israel, they're not only against Jews, they're not only against Christians, they're not only against the United States

They're against humanity, they're against God, they're against life

And now, if they don't want to listen To my words

Tomorrow they will have to listen to the bombs and the bullets of the terrorists No need for, uh, clap him for this, but this is the ugly reality

So stay, double down on your arrogant

I'm not concerned of you

As I was saying before, the people in this room understand what you're saying

What do you wanna take this opportunity to help the folks in this room understand that they might not already? Well, you keep repeating that the people in this room understand

I know that they do understand

Good

Do you see that freaking camera? I'm speaking to that camera right there

My message is going through that camera to all the Hamas people

You know, my peeps- I don't know how many of them watch Being Jewish, but all right

Look, this is a real war, okay? This is a real war, and my peers, okay, are not American fanatics who want to boycott Israel

I'm not speaking to them

My problem is not with these people

When I walk down the street and I have a fool come to me and ask me to throw a punch, uh, want a fist fight with someone who has conquered death, my problem is not with these people

I will never fight with someone who's not my peer

My peers are Hamas, the jihadists, the high-profile terrorists, the ones who have been plotting and planning in the darkness to harm even those who harass me while I walk in my country

So that's fine

I don't have time for side fights, and I don't have time for street fights

I know where the enemy is, and I speak to them, and they can see and sense the fire that coming from within

This is not just a speech, they are not just words, and I'm not here to convince anybody

I know everybody in this room is on the same page

Make sense? Oh, I think we can see the fire

The enemies that you discuss, they are committed to their outcome of destruction

What would it take to shake that commitment to Israel's destruction loose and actually get to a, a peaceful solution? Or is that just baked into the nature of Islamic extremism and there is no other resolution other than war? We didn't choose this war

It's, it was their choice, and we're not going to stop until they're annihilated

So now the question is how fast the average people are going to realize that this is not going to stop until they are finished because there is no place for barbarians in civilization

When you have blood relations on the other side, among the ranks of the enemy, this is a real war

This is not a political war

This is not, uh, a war of narrative

I have blood on the other side

I have siblings, I have cousins, and there is no exceptions for anybody

You take the side of barbarians, then you must die with them

The ones who kidnapped and killed, brutalized innocent people, raped- Innocent people

They kidnapped women from their living rooms, toddlers on their arms

And with all the noise that they are creating and they've been propagating, my eyes are focused on that, and I can never forget

I can never move on until justice has been served Now, in the meantime, let this sound outrageous and let it sound, "Whoa, this guy is a scary guy

" Yeah Yeah, you should be scared If I don't have compassion to blood relationship, okay, if they choose to be with the enemy, okay, then how am I supposed to feel towards you? So it's better that you get the fuck out of my way

If you are a politician, an activist, a historian, self-proclaimed whatever, belonging to a tribe in the morning, then move into another tribe in the evening, you need to understand that this is not a game

This is very serious issue, and we're not going to allow an empire of savages to be born

So if you don't want to get hurt, get out of the way

Because if I to punish Palestinian rapists and terrorists for their crimes against innocent people, a capital punishment Then you get in the way and you deny the victims their rights

In fact, you deny the crimes that they ever happened Then I don't mind burning you all together

Go to hell You think this is serious? And I'm sure that they're going to take it out of the context, and they're going to do whatever they want to do with, with it

I'm not afraid

Sooner or later, they're going to realize that this is not up to the politicians

This is universal justice

This is not right and wrong

This is cause and effect

This is how the universe works, not according politicians, presidents, prime ministers

What is written is written, and it is going to happen sooner or later

And by the way, you can look me up

There is nothing that I say or predict that does not happen

So you better get out of the way

Let us finish this fight, okay? And you- know your place

What do you see unfolding in the next six month, a year, two years from where we are today with a Hamas who won't disarm, with a West that won't have the fortitude to go in and, as you say, annihilate? We're at this sort of stalemate

What do you see happening in the war? Things are gonna get a lot worse, so brace for the impact

Yeah

I'm not talking about the Middle East only

Where else are you talking about? The United States is not in a good shape, unfortunately

The country is divided and subdivided, and we have a bunch of, uh, I would call them Terrorist sympathizers

They think that they're doing humanity a good job by promoting and circulating terrorist propaganda

Israel, to this group of people, of clueless Americans, they think that Israel is not only occupying Palestine, Israel is also now occupying the United States Brilliant conclusions

These idiots Don't know how much the American economy depends on the seven million productive Jews in the United States

More than, more than, more than two hundred fifty billion dollars contribution to the American treasury annually

Two hundred fifty billion dollars, and I think it's more than that

Then they're coming after the three point eight billion dollars given to Israel as investment where the return is about five hundred billion dollars on that investment

And they think by demonizing the Jews, and they think by defaming Israel, and they think by cutting and severing the relationship between or the alliance between the United States and Israel, they're doing America a favor

To these idiots, I say that you're only shooting yourselves in the head

This is what you're doing

You're committing suicide

Your actual and real god is money

The Jews help you thrive

You should be grateful to the Jewish people

You should bow in humility because this is what you are all about

So instead of rebelling against the hand that is helping you, you should actually show some gratitude

And I say this because none of the Jewish people would say it to the public, because then it would be crisis

The Jewish community in the United States are not the Muslims There are five million Muslims in the United States

What's your contribution to the American treasury? What do they know except exploiting and bleeding the system, then dividing the country, then turning everybody against the most productive minority in the United States? Who's, who's benefiting from this except the Muslim Brotherhood and all the anti-American regimes that want to sabotage and destroy America from within by turning Americans against Americans? The relationship between American Jews and Israel is not a political alliance

It's a family When jihadists slaughtered and wiped out 22 Jewish communities in Gaza, to the Jewish community in the United States, this was an attack against their family, against their cousins, against their blood

Were you expecting from the Jews in the United States to just watch and do nothing about it? These people who contribute to the American treasury, they have a say

They can say to their government, "We want you to help our cousins who are facing terrorist annihilation

" It's as legitimate as the universe

So it's better that you show gratitude

All these moralists coming, trying to save America

They want to cut the military aid

Guess what? Israel does not need this aid

It's close to $300 billion annual budget

You think Israel cannot survive? But then who loses? On the long term, America loses, not Israel

Israel is 5,000 years civilization

What is America? Learn from Israel

Humble yourselves instead of attacking Israel

This is the simple truth, and who-- and you need to remember, this is a message to all the self-righteous Americans, especially self-proclaimed Christians, the kind of, uh, Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson

These people are dividing the country, and sooner or later, Americans will realize the damage that they have done to America

Why? Because they cannot humble themselves for a moment and just see, see things for what they are

They're riding the wave of chaos, and they're serving barbarians, and they're serving Islamists, jihadists, all those who wish America to be destroyed, by the name of Christianity

So for all those self-proclaimed Christians who don't understand where Christianity came from, I would like to remind them that Jesus himself was a Jew Today, they inverted and twisted the scripture, and somehow Jesus became Palestinian The God you worship was a Jew

Your New Testament would have not existed without the Old Testament

This is why when you go to the church and you have the Bible, there is the Old Testament and the New Testament in one book, because Christianity depends on Judaism

Even Christ himself said, "I did not come to cancel the law

" Your God respected the Jewish law and the ten, Ten Commandments, so don't think that you are above that

You are below

But isn't this a story of Islam, of Christianity, of all the self-righteous people who are coming right now and attacking Israel? Israel was before Israel is now And Israel will be way beyond the point when you are gone

The distance is vast, and there is no room for Islam dominance, especially here in the United States

Go back to the shit holes where you came from and reform your own countries

CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood, that is embedded right now in every American institution, and every time we call them out or they get exposed, they create a new front

They change name

They change name more than I change my socks

They wanted to deport me while I was facing death sentence

They were conspiring on Capitol Hill while I was fighting for my life

You think I will forget that? I will never forget that

Why did they want to deport me, CAIR, and the Muslim Brotherhood? Why? Did I kill any one of them? I'm just telling their truth, and I'm exposing the pattern because the Muslim Brotherhood, this guy Elsayed from Michigan, is a Muslim Brotherhood to the core

They started, it sounded okay

The first generation sounded reasonable, but then came the next generation of Muslim Brotherhood

They were more radical

Then came the third generation of the Muslim Brotherhood, the fourth generation of the Muslim Brotherhood, and you know what the outcome? Gaza

This is the outcome

Kidnapping, killing, using human shields

According to the Muslim Brotherhood, using a human shield is okay

Weaponizing civilians for political and financial gain is okay

Destroying humanity, sacrificing humanity for the sake of hypothetical entity that does not exist is a virtue according to the Muslim Brotherhood

When you see them speak, even though they are doing line dancing and singing country songs, no, no, no, they don't belong here America need to wake up

Israel is not the enemy

Israel is the greatest ally of the United States

It's my greatest ally Israel is my home So is the United States

When I go to Israel, I don't feel the difference

The only difference is the chaos the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas and the PLO and Palestinians create, that they kept Israel under consistent threat and terror attacks for more than seventy-eight years

Imagine if America was under such pressure

Any democracy would have broken

Any democracy

It's a miracle that Israel is still standing

And instead, actually, of blaming Israel and say 'apartheid,' apartheid state, you know what America or any other democracy would do to their adversaries if they were attacking them for seventy-eight years continuously? That's almost a century

Existential threat

Then those who say 'apartheid', we tell them, "How many Jews are in the Arab countries or in your Palestine? How many Jews are there?" Zero

There are no Jews

How many Arabs are in Israel? Millions

Millions

Then they say 'colonizers' and we tell them the simple truth, more than sixty percent of the Jewish population in Israel today were forced out of their countries, Arab countries

They are Jewish Arabs or Arab Jews

They were forced out of their countries

They lost their property

Even the woman was not able to take her bracelet or her watch on the boat

They were kicked out

Sixty percent of these people today are the Israeli population

What colonizers you're talking about? You believe the propaganda of the Muslim Brotherhood, of Hamas

It's time to wake up

But do you think this mes- message would resonate with them? No

It will not resonate with them

We tell them there is no genocide in Gaza

There is a tragedy in Gaza, we understand

It's orchestrated

It's made in hell

The terrorists built this trap for everybody

They wanted this bloodbath, and they wanted the global chaos, and they wanted to divide America and Israel, and they wanted to divide the West, and they are gaining ground

Only the truth can stop them

And if we don't, we are all on this boat

We are all are going to be affected

So let's take responsibility

It's our moral responsibility to stand for the truth

Why they call it genocide? According the Palestinians, it's martyrdom

There is no genocide in the Arabic dictionary

They only understand, they think it's a way of worship To die for Allah

Hamas wanted to die for Allah

Palestinians want to die for Allah

Their Palestine is not in this life

It's in the afterlife

So when they go and march towards death And it's their choice don't blame me for their suffering it's their choice And if they try To harm innocent children, then I will get in their way

I said this from the beginning, and let all the moralists understand this

I had a life back in Ramallah

I was protected

I was well-funded

I had status

I had a family, but my family wanted to kill Jews only for being Jews And this was my final message to my father I wouldn't even call him my father today

He's just Sheikh Hassan Yusuf

It's what I tell him, "You want to kill the Jews, then you must kill me first

" But you can't

And this is his hypocrisy
